However my husband, Matthew, also in a blue moon blogs here & is due credit for most my writing inspiration. Without him life would be dull to say the least. He won’t write a section on himself because he thinks I’ve wrote enough about him. That and he’s anti-social.
I am such a list whore so it’s only fitting that I make a list to tell you about myself. You can contact me @deep_n_thought on twitter or send me an e-mail.
I am also a member of Mom Select and One2One Network. These programs connect women with businesses, and I only choose programs to participate in that I think are beneficial so I am in no way advertising for someone. I’m just giving feedback so therefore I have no problem telling ‘em how it is.
25 Random Things About Me
1. My name is Brittany. It means absolutely nothing and I hate it; sorry mom. That and I find it more often then not I share it with people I do not like.
2. I am in love with my husband Matthew, and I tell him that I love him everyday even when I’m mad at him.
3.I have two beautiful daughters (Vera and Naomi), and they are my sunshine
4. I pray in the shower vs. sing…..hope God doesn’t mind I talk to him naked
5. I miss my family and friends in Illinois A LOT. That is where I was born and raised.
6. I am sad that my side of the family do not get to see my children on a regular basis
7. I am a play at home mom, and I love every minute of it (even when my toddler throws a fit)
8. I gave birth to my first daughter in a birthing tub at home assisted by a midwife
9. I gave birth to my second daughter at the San Antonio Birth Center….she was almost a water birth too, but I stood up and there she was ^_^
10. Realized that while I have big dreams I have NO IDEA what I want to be when I “grown-up”.
11. I love to read comic books. You wouldn’t know it if you saw Matt’s Green Lantern collection, but I actually got him re-interested in the genre.
12. I enjoy reading 500+ page novels.
13.I DO know that Crocs are hideous, but do not care because they are extremely comfortable. I guarantee a Croc hater has never owned a pair….
14. I drive to Austin on a regular basis just to go to Steak’n Shake…..I make an excuse like “We need this from Ikea” just so we can go haha.

16. I have a mom crush on Mover Smitty, and Matthew thinks it has a lot to do with my Harry Potter Hotness complex!
17. I want to go backpacking in Europe with Matthew. No staying in Hostels though.
18. I want to go to Japan and visit some Anime studios …..I love Japanese animation.
19. I am writing a novel.
20. I like to go shooting at the range with Matthew…sHHhh don’t tell him. I give him a hard time.
21. I am sick of renting an apartment and throwing Matt’s hard earned money away
22. I hate making my bed….I think it’s because my mom made us make our bed every morning. No offense to mom ^_^.
23. I sit down with Matthew regularly and read to him. It’s our form of foreplay.
24. I’m EXTREMELY opinionated, although I try to not share my opinion with others if I can help it. This blog has become somewhat a form of therapy because of this.

1. To loose 10 lbs(mainly just tone up the baby pouch) by working out regularly on Wii Fit.I want to be my actual age on wii fit age dammit
2. I’m going to try to stay home with my children as long as I possibly can
3. I want to get a car. Ever heard of cabin fever? Well Vera and I are developing a bad case of it!
4. I want finish and publish the novel I am working on.
5. I want to build a Dome. And by build I mean I will be out there with my two hands doing my part in the labor.
6. I want to open up a comic book store (one of my BIG dreams).It’s a dream that I have had since my dad bought me my first comic book in a truck stop. I was going to be like that fat guy in the Simpson’s…..only not fat. “You fold it, you bought it.”
7.When our children are leaving the nest I want for me and Matt to go see all the places that we see and currently can only dream about on the discovery/travel channel
8. I want to go to Comic Con! Made plans to go next year, but when I went to buy passes it’s sold out (nine months until the con). Oh well, there’s always 2011.
9. I’m going to win the Texas Lotto Jackpot. At some point in my life I should if I’m throwing away a buck every Wednesday and Saturday!
10. I want to be able to SAVE our money so that we can be self sufficient when we are older and splurge on the grandchildren we will have ^_^.
