“The Twilight Saga” by Stephenie Meyer completed May 4th (all four books).

Comments: If you enjoy vampires, werewolves, action, and romance then this is definitely a book series for you! Stephenie Meyers is a wonderful author. The characters are written in such a way that you can identify with them on a certain level even though they are set in this magical make-believe world. The love story that unfolds could easily rival Romeo & Juliet’s. How ironic that characters in the novel should even refer to them. Her take on the mythological creatures is also refreshing, and unique. No garlic-cross fearing, tomb sleeping vampires anywhere in these novels! I was so engrossed in this series I finished in a week. I had expected to read these books nightly with Matthew, but found that a chapter a day wasn’t enough. The books are written in such a way that compels you to get to the end. At the end of the series I was sad to finish it, but the ending left you at a good place with the characters. I don’t want to say to much because I don’t want to give any spoilers, but it’s definitely a must read; A+. So much so that I think I am going to enjoy them even more rereading them with Matthew.
