mmMMmm Ribs and Cream Corn

The other day Matthew and Kyle concocted a plan to go over to Kyle’s and cookout. So today after Matthew got out of work we hauled the girls over to Kyle and Lauren’s to share the deer chili Matthew made with them, and grill some ribs.  Vera had a blast playing out in their yard with her princess ball while I took care of Naomi and everyone else preped the food. I think it was probably the best meal I’ve had since going out to the Cove. Lauren and Kyle know how to cook! It must run in the boys’ gene pool or something….. Anyways the ribs had been slow cooked before being grilled, and the cream corn was fresh corn off the cob(which was grilled). They also made a veggie salad with grilled veggies such as asparagus, avocado,  zucchini, tomatoes, and peppers topped with fettid cheese and some dressing I can’t recall. Then we all had chili on the side. Lauren also made this really rich desert. It was vanilla cake with I think mango(can’t be sure), whipped cream, coconut, and cinnamon. It was really yummy! Man, was I stuffed. I am going to sleep good tonight. I’ve added another thing to my list of things I’d do if I had a lot of money haha. I would have Matthew and Kyle open up a restaurant because their recipes are too yummy to be squandered.
