You do not need a reason to get your lady flowers!

Matthew came home yesterday with a bouquet of Roses that he picked up on his way home from work (like Vera’s sippy cup in the background!). Why you may ask? I know I asked him what he did haha, but there was no reason in particular. Other than that I always say “you never get me flowers”. Insert foot in mouth huh? No i think flowers is a simple romantic jester that lets that special someone know that you were thinking of them. Fresh flowers just makes your home seem brighter; full of life. They may wilt and die eventually, and you wonder how to justify the expense. However it does something to your mood every-time you look at them or smell them. I almost busted into song singing “Out There”(Hello Dolly) while doing the dishes and gloating over my flowers haha. A particular chorus comes to mind….”we won’t go home until we kiss the girl”. You get me flowers and I’m putty in your hands.
