seen August 30th 09 rented from Hollywood video(couldn’t find it at a redbox :()
Comments: This movie had Kevin Smith written all over it. It was witty, sarcastic, and he took something that shouldn’t be funny and made it that way. I don’t know about you, but when funds get tight the husband and I occasionally joke “Oh, well….looks like your going to have to go sell yourself for money”. Well that is practically ends up happening in this film. There is a lot of suggestive scenes so I wouldn’t watch it unless your in the mood for soft porn. The most hilarious character in this film was the dude(Justin Long) that does the Mac commercials plays this gay guy that stars in Pornos who’s in love with the the guy who played Superman in Superman Returns who was suppose to be Miri’s high school crush….for some reason I just couldn’t wrap my mind around that strange and awkward kiss haha. Also Just as a side note; I think Lester’s character would have been better if it were “Jay”. It would have fit the role & would have felt more like a traditional Kevin Smith Film. This movie definitely gets an A+ from me, but I can see where a lot of people wouldn’t like it because it goes outside their comfort zone.
