I was inspired this morning by a post from aiming low. The author was making a list of fictional men that she’d get into the sack with(permission from the hubby), and I realized that I had a list of my own too. Snape didn’t make my list, but if this were a six person list you who who he’d be lucky number 6 haha.
1. Bruce Wayne- He’s rich, and he’s Batman.
2. James Bond- Not these movie bonds, but Ian Flemming bond.Ok, maybe Connery’s rendition of Bond:P!
3. Noah Calhoun- That kind of devotion speaks to me. That and the character was a hopeless romantic.
4. Neo- Come on….he’s “The One”
5. Jasper Whitlock-Not the Twilight character you expected? He’s a solider,a good ole southern boy, and a vampire! That and there’s just something about his lack of control that is hot haha.I know my husband thinks I’d jump Edward’s bones.
I’m a sucker for making lists. Every time I read one or get one in my inbox I’m the first person to fill it out. Let’s not even talk about Facebook notes…..
Comments: The storyline was your classic sci-fi/comic book i.e. people with extraordinary abilities being persecuted by some organization or another. I will give the movie this though: It had a witty plot that the title complemented. At first I was like why is this the title of the movie? At the end I realized what the “Push” was. That wasn’t enough to win me over though. Even knowing Nick and Cassie’s background stories you still didn’t know much about who they were as a person (either that or the actors didn’t do a good job of portraying them). I think in this genre you really have to have strong character development in order for it to stand out. Half-way through the movie a whole slew of characters were introduced that were vital that you knew nothing about except their ability that was told to you. I’ll give it a B- for originality. At least it wasn’t based off a preexisting piece of work; comic, novel, or otherwise. However it was lacking something I couldn’t put my finger on.
