LETTING IT ALLLLL OUT FOR GTT

This bitch, moi,  is letting it ALLLLL out for Girl Talk Thursday today. It’s a good thing that this was the topic because I’ve been having one of those days months . We’re making a list of all the things that have pissed us off in the past 24 to 48 hours month giving me an opportunity to complain about everything that I couldn’t fit into 140 characters. A good majority of the shit that’s been getting to me lately is caused by those around me so we’re going to leave those things out because that is a whole can of worms I do NOT want to open. Some of it is stupid too that shouldn’t set me off, but it has/is. You know how much I love making lists too so maybe this will be good therapy and cheer me up.

1. That season 2 of True Blood is not out yet, and that Netflix made me look like a fool tell’n everyone that I couldn’t wait to watch it because it was in my queue. Maybe they should put in caps that the availability of this series is UNKNOWN so then my dumb-ass could see it. Just a random thought.
2. That Vera named the goldfish (Dorthy….she watches Sesame St. religiously) my MIL brought over for us to feed because Matthew’s  step-sister is not capable of taking care of it for her son (if she can’t take care of a fish, why is she allowed to have a child? Hope she doesn’t read the blog…..no wait I hope she does) until she got a tank for them.  By her naming it I am therefore obligated to keep it and therefore this ugly 25¢ fish is F-cking up the Zen that’s going on in my tank.  That and I somewhat think that was Bianca’s plan all along lol. I love her…I really do…and I only say this because we think a lot alike and that is what I would have done haha. “If I take the fish over there I don’t have to keep it, and they’ll keep it because Vera will become attached to it”.  For the record I’m not irritated at her….It’s this ugly fish and it’s ORIGINAL owner.
3. That I did all the laundry Sat-Sun and that it’s now Thursday and my three hampers are OVERFLOWING.
4. No one told me that potty training a child is like potty training a dog. You still have to clean pee and poop off your carpets,furniture, and walls. The fact that I”m actually considering buying Urine Be Gone is on a whole other level of desperation.
5. That I got peed on right in front of a toilet at Burger King the other night. Did not think that the diaper bag needed a change of clothes for ME.
6. Five minutes after dressing Vera (3yrold) for the day she’s taken her clothes off. That and she wants to go stand and look out the sliding glass door. We live in an apt. complex. Freaks me out that some creep could be watching/pisses me off too that I have to worry about that. I worry that this is a sign of her personality and fear that I’ll have a very promiscuous teenager to deal with lol.
7. That people have the audacity to have you drive clear across town in order to use you to sell their car incidentally selling the vehicle right from under YOU.  He’s a lucky bastard that I’m not some psychopath. Although I did consider rehashing some of my hooligan ways and saran wrapping his car, forking his yard, and playing mail-box baseball.
8. What was once a $1,000 car is now a POS $2,500 car…..thank you cash for clunkers for making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to find a vehicle within my budget. Government never thinks of the repercussions of this idiotic laws. God gave us 10 and we can’t even keep those….isn’t that enough?!
9. America is no longer founded on the constitution. Wonder if this is how the Romans felt.
10. I’ve been on a  PMS rampage for an entire month. Watch out.
11. That I don’t feel any better after making this list

I finally did it

I finally did it. I got the Etsy shop up and running. Granted it only has one measly item in it, but HEY it’s up. You can either admire the tab at the top of the site next to the zazzle shop (that’s up with nothing in it -_-  so therefore I’m not bragging about it) or you can go and check out the bunk bed tent. I realize a lot of my loyal readers probably have no need for such an item, but if you know someone who does I’d appreciate you passing along the word. If the tent/canopy does sell I’m buying myself a new sewing machine; one with decorative stitches. That way I can make more of these crazy things. I’m thinking the next one I make I’ll use felt too, and make it look like a little house (I’ll probably have to make two because Vera will want to keep one).

It just feels sometimes like there is not enough time in the day to do everything that needs to be done and the stuff that I want to do so to me getting that item listed was quite an accomplishment.

I really enjoyed sewing that. I hope someone enjoys it as much as we did (and if so I’ll make more).
